Well now…Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet and Little River I have enjoyed through the years and many a rally. In fact it used to be my favorite. I would even load up an run up for a day or two when there wasn’t a rally. Being about four and a half hours from where I live at St. Simons Island, it always made for a pleasant ride through the coastal marshlands.
I would hit the road on one of my customs, a V Rod or a Geezer Glide - depending on if I was being accompanied by a lady friend or not.
Some of the views riding up the coast are just absolutely incredible but nothing can compare to the “views” once you get to Myrtle Beach!

See what I mean? A Biker’s Heaven!
Yep! That’s me in the middle of those gorgeous gals! What more could a man ask for?
Good food. That’s what!
And, as long as you stay out of those Calabash Seafood buffets up an down the strip, you will find some of the best damned local seafood anywhere’s to be had…as we say down here in the south…”it’s so damned good that it’ll make you slap your granny”.
My favorite places to hang out included Suck Bang Blow, Dead Dog Saloon, The Beaver Bar, Rat Hole Saloon, Dog House, Dicks, Broadway at the Beach, and Little River for the Blue Crab Festival. Sometimes I would even take in a concert at the House of Blues.
I would normally stay on the “Grand Strand” Myrtle Beach proper as it is known with a room at the beach. But not anymore since me, the biker guy, and my fellow brotherhood are not wanted there anymore.
That’s right; the City of Myrtle Beach had their second reading of the new ordinances on September 23, 2008 with some of the new laws taking immediate effect. Like must wear a helmet while in the City Limits of Myrtle Beach and not in the State of South Carolina, loud pipes, open container, etc… I am not going to sugar coat it for you, just look at the new laws the City of Myrtle Beach has laid down for you and let us know what you think.
They may have stopped me and my friends from coming into the City of Myrtle Beach by passing these new laws and the fact that are no more vendors at Broadway at the Beach and several other locations within the City Limits of Myrtle Beach, but they have not stopped us from returning Murrells Inlet and Little River which are our favorite places to begin with.
