Ya know, we have to take a break from the everyday life at times and step aside from the motorcycle business, too. I shot some pool at a little pool hall with a good friend of mine last night and we played music from days gone by. However, David being the brother he is, always brings up a tune or two where everyone will sing along.
This one song is an original from Robert Earl Keen and the video is as diverse as most of my biker buddies would like it…It’s appropriately named “Merry Christmas From the Family”. It’s quoted as a “swaggering, South Texas Christmas” and a “humorous look at the holiday season through the lenses of white trash glasses.” If you’re a drinkin man, get your beer or beverage and pull up chair. Turn the volume up and enjoy. Might as well sit your Sweetie right there beside you, too…
Whatever your religion and beliefs may be, this is the holiday season here in the United States of America…and from us at Diamondback Bobbers…ENJOY…Merry Christmas from the Family! If you don’t like “Merry Christmas”, we don’t give a damn.
